Week 7 of 2012 Spring Poncho

Just finished a spring poncho, knitted with Tosh chunky, which is a nice plied merino yarn.  Mare and Margaux, colorway.  This first 2 ponchos I knit were out of non plied yarn, so far they look ok, but not great.. hoping the nature of plied yarn will make them last longer and look better....this photo is the first few days of knitting...

The poncho used about 7 skeins of the darker and a little more than one skein of the lighter yarn.

Life a bit hectic, 3 kids, 3 different schools, exams, SATS, college visits.... dog and work!
